Datenbeschaffung und -aufbereitung im Kontext einer Lkw-Shuttle-Simulation zwischen Produktionswerk und Logistikzentrum

The present text reports on data acquisition and preparation in a simulation for evaluating a planned truck shuttle operation from a production plant to a logistic centre. Special aspects include the development of time intervals for the provision of finished goods that must be transported to the logistic centre by truck. Furthermore, the text describes how the travel time between the production facility and the logistic centre can be determined using various approaches. Finally, the results demonstrate the impacts that a more detailed consideration of the aforementioned aspects can have, particularly with respect to dynamic truck allocation and production planning at the production plant.
